Hi Sporty3.6ers,
Fire safety is everybody's concern. There has been several fires that broke out in apartments in recent months. How can we help to ensure that fire does not break out accidentally?
In this week's journal writing, I would like you to reflect on this issue.
To help you with your writing, I have listed some questions below:
1. Have you seen or experienced any incident of fire breaking out in your home or neighbourhood? If so, could you tell us what happened?
2. Can you describe what you would do if a fire were to break out in your home or outside?
3. What do you think are the causes of fire in homes or outside?
4. What can you do to prevent fire from breaking out in your home and outside?
5. If you were given a chance to introduce an activity for children to learn fire safety, what would it be and why?

1.I have experience fire safety because last year,the school have a programme on fire safety.The programme teach me what to do when there is a fire in my house or any where outside my house.I have seen a real fire in my neighbourhood.The fire is outside near my house.I quickly tell my father and mother that there is a fire outside my house.My parents call the firehouse number which is 995.
ReplyDelete2.If there will be another fire in or out of my house,I would tell my parents where is the fire and who lives near the fire.If it is in my house, I will shout out loudly and call 995.
3.I think the causes of the fire is nomally when people forgot to off the fire and after a while,the fire would get big and will slowly burn the house down.
4.I would prevent fire from breaking into the house by reminding everyone in my family to switch off the fire when they are done using it.
5.If I was given a chance to introduce about fire safety to a school,I will teach the children how to prevent fire to spread,what they need to do when there is a fireand what the children need to do when they are on fire.

Yes.In our neighbourhood,I saw a house was in fire.I tall to my mother that the house was in fire,than my mother call 995.

ReplyDeleteI did not expirence any fire breaking in my houseor in the nieboorhood .I will call a fire engine or just call 995.I think that smoking and throwing them into the rubbich chuit mtght cause a great fire.I could switch of the fire stove when it is still cooking.

ReplyDeletedear miss lee,i have heard some things about fire safty because a few people from the civil defence came to Anderson Primary school to give a talk. if there is a fire i will call 995 or shout for help. if ther is a fire stop, drop and roll.

but i did not call 995 because i was at the house sleeping,but i will call 995 if i saw a real fire in mine neighbourhood. last year the event when i was P2 they taught me about fire safety and i was learning how to stop the fire when ever i see a fire burning.
i would off the gas when ever i go out.

To prevent fire from breaking in, i will not play fire in my house.
I will tell all the children not to play fire in the house.Because if they play fire in the house.The house will get burn.
